Custom Intakes
Well I decided to put my friend and shop owner to the challenge of making me custom intakes for my Z. I wanted something like the long tube intakes on the market but with a little uniqueness. And I got some awesome flawless intakes! Enjoy!
*I did post something similar to this thread in the SouthEast section of the forum.

They perform well, they add a nice sound to the car, and a moderate hp increase, Im assuming I will probably see more of an increase when I get tuned.

Great minds think alike! I did not want to pay the $$$ for some Stillen intakes that take no more than 100$ to manufacture. So much like you I made my own Intakes glad to see more people out t here like myself.
Mine are Nismo INtakes with my own Custom Extensions. now I'm looking into Thermal Wrap to keep the heat away from the Metal Tubing. the air to actually stay cold.

Nice! I have the stillen G3's as well, but I got them with a good discount So I am not too worried about how much I spent. I have always wondered though. I used to have the Fujita Short rams, and I really LOVED how the intakes sounded because they had the "vortex" like inward bottom. However, the filters looked exactly the same size as the K and N ones that come on the Stillens. Would it be possible that the Fujitas would fit snugly, after tightening them on the intakes, get the better sound, while not decreasing air flow? The fujitas were very high flow from what I have read.
