Default Got my Technosquare tune

Hey guys, I finally had time to get my auto HR tuned at technosquare and I hit 305 hp "corrected." I honestly think that this number is still high compared to what the car is actually making. For some reason the tune BARELY yielded results when compared to AH and Infinite, God knows why. You'll know this when you see the dyno and compare it to AH and Infinite. The tune was based on headers, hfcs, and bassani. Compared to Infinite who doesn't even have headers (but same HFCs and exhaust), my numbers seem to be pretty low (his are around 311). Tadashi mentioned that because my car has 7k miles it's still "breaking in" and so the #s will increase when I hit around 15-20k miles. He also mentioned getting gas from good places like Shell or Chevron helps because apparently it makes a difference. I've been using Valero until now. Anyway, I hope it's true because I'm pretty disappointed, as I was expecting better numbers. I'll post the dyno soon....

Are you planning on going to a dynojet?

Compared to my last dynojet (265), I gained 10 more hp!

Hey how did you get a hold of him? I tried calling the number on their website and no one keeps answering. I want a test pipe install + tune. Also, how much did you pay?

I paid $700 flat. It's basically $550 for the reflash and $150 for dyno time (a couple of dyno runs). Overall you'll get 10-15 more hp but I definitely recommend it because the car will feel a lot more powerful and he'll activate wot at all times.

If they aren't picking up, try leaving a message or calling some other time, maybe they're busy? They take forever to respond to emails so avoid that.

Yeah I finally got a hold of them today. They told me 800 for a test pipe install plus dyno tune. I'm going to go buy an LSD soon and then maybe will have to get a tune later.

Not sure but I think they do mostly everything. When I went they were doing a engine build and the tech was working away like he knew it all.

You'll definitely like the tune, it's gonna be loud though with TPs. The cool thing is that you can always go back and have them fine tune it if you get other mods.

I've decided to hold out on a tune. I bought some test pipes, and I just ordered a Quaife LSD and decided to spend the extra money on 4.08 gears instead of a tune. I figure I want gears and traction before I decide to get a tune, I can always get that later.

Yea that's a good idea. After the tune you'll be breaking traction very easily so you want all the traction you can get.
