My stock dyno was 254whp on a Dynojet. I hit 301whp NA on that same dyno, but it took alot of money. Injen CAI's, Tomei headers and test pipes, Tomei cams, HKS HiPower, and Cobb AP.

well if it helps the dyno was done on dyno dynamics which was in a controlled box, so variables were probably at prime. Unfortunately I do not have a baseline dyno but I just compared to dynos done by stock HRs. Only gained 10 whp on the uprev tune on dyno dynamics, tuner said my A/F was already pretty much optimized so there wasnt a big increase in gains to where I was already at. As i did mention the car was slower on the low end but made up for it on the high end. But thats normal with test pipes even with the ART pipes.

Did u see any good gains of Tomei cams? Did it feel any different after putting them in? Im thinking about doing the same. Numbers are one thing but actually feeling the power is another.

Yes. It really opened it up on the top end, but gains were made pretty much across the board. I'll see if I can find my old dyno sheet. I had the 264's in and out, FYI.

yeah not discrediting your numbers man..i know dynos are all gonna read differently...just strange that you made 20 some more whp on a dyno dyanmics vs mine...i know each car is different also...i know that the only other hr they dynoed at there place had full boltons with headers and made 283whp...

I dont think on the dyno it would show in difference in numbers because it was a open hood dyno, but on streets i feel a difference on throttle response. They have done tests and said that the Injen CAI were better than the Stillen G3 and a little bit better than stock.

I agree all dyno/tuners will read differently. To me the numbers dont really mean anything. Whether I gain 10 whp or 15 whp as long as i can feel the difference Im happy. Did you have the same setup as I have? You said they dynoed a 350z at ptuning or a different tuner place?

I would pay money to see that dyno sheet. I looked at your thread and I agree with everyone that those are some very generous numbers for the mods. From your looks of the video it doesnt look like a dyno jet or dyno dynamics, so what did you use? If you could post the dyno results I would love to see it.

As of right now I have injen dual cai's/Aam testpipes/ amuse r1titan. The other car I was talking about was done at dynosty also which is where I had mine done.

I will add to the fun. I have an 07 got stillen headers, jwt dual pop charger, kinetix hfc, and invidia dual catback. Also got Uprev tune. Got 309 whp on dynojet, but had 276 whp on mustang dyno. That is what I think you got your car tuned on was a mustang dyno. It is roughly 12% difference between the two. Just take your 275 number and multiply it by 1.12 to get what your whp on a dynojet.

My car was tuned on a dyno dynamics not mustang. Yeah I had heard that they read unusually low. All my buddies called it the heartbreak dyno. I'm trying to decide if I want stillen headers or just get longtubes.

Mustang dynos are the most accurate for what you are actually putting down out on the street, according to CIN Motorsports.. they said Dynojets read what you might be making "in space" lol

Default It never ends

How many dyno posts do we have? A thousand?
A dyno sheet should also be posted with the car's 1/4 mile performance slip. Feels like it's faster means nothing. Even if you're not such a good driver, any Z that shows 300whp should cross the finish line at or above 108 pmh. If you can't, not capable of going down the track, than why bother getting bolt ons/dyno/spending money????

Some people dont track their car, and just use it as a daily driver who wants a overall faster car. Also who cares about your 1/4 time? Im honestly happy when I feel a difference in power, because that makes those mods all worthwhile. I do agree that you should track your car at least once so see the full potential, but that shouldn't be determinate on if your car is fast or not. If your happy with the power of the car who cares about anything else including dynos and 1/4 mile times.

Said by a guy that posted a post about his dyno chart, two different bolt ons & more dyno tests in his future.
