Default 08 HR minor bolt ons with tune

Thought I would share my numbers so people with similar setups can compare numbers. At the time of the tune I had weapon-r short ram intake, ART test pipe, and invidia axle back exhaust. Had tune done with Uprev at Ptuning in VA. I just installed Injen CAI and definitely feel a difference over the short ram intake, have not yet dynoed with the new intake. I lost a lil bit of low end trq with the test pipes but gained it back higher up.

I did the track before the dyno and test pipes and the best I did was 9.3 on the 1/8. First time really tracking the car so Im sure I could of got better numbers if my launches were better. I went after the tune and was having problems with the clutch slipping pretty bad, so ill be upgrading the clutch here soon to see what I get.

ya only problem is the vents leaked water right onto my intake, so I ended up buying the Injen CAI

I honestly don't understand how there's such a big difference with the same displacement? Maybe the dual throttle bodies? My 03 was crap in comparison to how my 07 pulls. HR's are monsters for sure.

Did you have the same setup? If so was it on dyno jet or dyno dynamics?

Those are really good numbers. Did you happen to dyno before the upgrades? Just curious what the gains were.

Man this is the second hr I have seen break 300 on a dd. I have an 08 with injen dual cai's/ Aam testpipes and hks hi power at the time and only made 275 whp? I don't know if maybe my engine is screwed or what but only had around 35k on it when I got tuned. Got me scratching my head:/

Something's screwy then...

A full bolt on HR should be 285-295 with a tune.

Baselines should be 260

Hitting 300 maybe due to the variables dyno/temps/luck

Getting over 300 should require LTH/cams/even better tune

Indyz33 put that down on dynosty's dyno. Which is prolly why it's so low
