Can't translate the Japanese, are you talking about the throttle body?
Looks very similar to the Mine's high flow I have on my car.

Google Translating the pages for the add and blog seemed to work pretty good.

From what little I gather, they look to be oem VQ/VHR throttle bodies bored 2mm over, while the butterfly shaft is machined for a lower profile. Most likely the same thing (basically) as the Mine's TB's that were previously mentioned, and are likely good for 5-10rwhp on a mild build, going by Chacal's results on his bolt on 370z.

Personally, I'm waiting to see the dyno results for the GT-R manifold on the VHR over on the370z.com forum (as it might give us HR guys a nice window for aftermarket Intake manifold options).

Thanks, it might seeing stock HR throttle body bolts right up to the R35 manifold.

Also this boring, I'm guessing it's the manifold side that's bored? Cause if that's the case it should be $700 odd dollars for that mod.

I would certainly expect the entire TB to be ported to 62mm minimum, with the addition of a larger brass butterfly to account for the larger bore. I believe the factory inlet on the HR is a fair bit larger than 60mm (so no porting should be necessary on Intake manifold) to take advantage of a slightly oversized TB as such.

And I just want to correct myself - the GT-R throttle bodies are only 60mm from the factory (not 63mm as I stated
earlier), and seem to be interchangeable between the HR & 370 from what I little I've dug up. With that said, there could potentially be a pretty wide variety of options (although very expensive at the extreme end of the spectrum- Greddy IM/TB's for example) if this GT-R intake manifold adaptor comes to fruition. I'll be patiently waiting for now

yup Ive seen strong gain of 7-9whp at 2 different time when I went on the dyno for the testing
The first time was just a quick look at the potential gain since I had some big problem at that time with the ECU pulling timing (cracked flex wheel (7at))

then I went back a year later for a dyno test day and this confirmed the gain I have seen the first time.
but something to add to this is that I had my custom CAI (with a bigger MAF tube) might have influenced the result.
plus my TB have an arrow edged butterfly to help cutting through air which actualy improve airflow. Mines TB does not.

a couple week ago I was thinking to sell the kit since Im going with a different setup ! Almost half price of the Mines TB.

I might be doing this sooner than I thought. I'm still debating between Daytona, Jun, Impul, and other companies that make them. I'm still searching for evidence of solid gains doing this mod.
