I was throwing a camshaft positioning code on my 2007 350z. Replaced it with a new one and everything got worse.
It worked fine for about a week, but then when i would try to start the car it would take a while to crank and turn over. Once started sometimes the idle would bounce or be over 1k. Now when i drive the car the abs light, slip light, and check engine light will come on. The first few times i brake the abs will kick in and not give me braking power but once it stops it won't come back.
All of this started when i installed the brand new cam shaft sensor from nissan directly. When i read the code it has speed sensor, exhaust timing sensor, abs sensor, and sometimes the cam shaft sensor. I remember reading that these issues are all connected to the cam shaft sensor i just replaced. I am thinking i got a bad one from nissan and need to switch it out with a new one. Any other thoughts or suggestions?

 

did you replace both of them or just one, i would replace the other one also
