Default P0335: Crank Position Sensor Circuit A.....

Just curious how many folks out there have had to replace their crankshaft position sensor on an HR?

I'm at 82k miles and in the middle of a $125 autocross driving school event my car decided it would freak out if i rev'ed near redline.

Cleared the P0335 code at the track, drove her home with all the power of normal, pulled in the garage and got it to repeat while neutral revving to 7,500 rpm (I have my rev limiter set to 7,800).

Yeah I think it's a common issue and an easy fix. I had to replace both on my 3.5 Altima as well

I have a new Denso sensor coming from Rockauto.com tomorrow. I'll update with results.

New sensor fixed everything. Just wish Nissan hadn't moved the crankshaft position sensor to the 2 o'clock position behind the cats and header collector.
