Engine shaking at idle and 2k free revving
I installed a JWT clutch and flywheel maybe 4-5k miles ago, and lately I've started noticing that the car sometimes shakes at idle slightly, not a whole lot, but enough to feel in the vehicle, and it does the same thing at 2k. No vibrations while actually driving to speak of though, and no misfire codes and data-stream for misfires reads all cylinders functioning normally. I did notice that when I had the trans off that the motor mounts weren't very stiff, I could pretty easily move the motor around with my hands, not actually sure how to check motor mounts on a manual vehicle, since I can't put it in gear and rev up against the brake like with an auto.
My current thinking is that since the flywheel is lighter, it doesn't absorb as much un-smoothness from the engine as the OE DMF, causing that shaking. It's something I can ignore, but if something might actually be wrong I'd like to fix it. Any thoughts as to what it may be would be much appreciated. Or if someone can tell me that It's a normal side effect of a lightweight flywheel and put my mind at ease that would be even better LOL.
Really hoping it isn't something like an improperly balanced flywheel, I DO NOT want to have to pull the damn tranny again
