Any tips on getting at the front driver's side front O2 sensor? Haven't really looked at it but from what I remember seeing it's cramped in there pretty good 😳

Anyone done this that can shine some light on it?

 

I heard removing when the car is still hot works best. Just be careful not to burn yourself.

 

Just changed that on my 06. Out with O2 sensor socket, in w crescent wrench. Ask me how I know ; )
(Upstream, ds is super easy)

 

Just an update my upstream driver's side O2 is pretty much welded or cross threaded in from the factory.

Hit it with the torch and impact for a few hours tonight after drenching with pb blast the last few days. It laughed as I broke multiple 1/2" extensions and a breaker bar.

Will be replacing the manifold to get this sucker out apparently.

Guess I wanted headers anyway.
