Another ART pipe question
I have some ART pipes laying around in the garage.
Running ARTS on a stock HR exhaust, what are the pro's and cons on a stock engine vs a FI engine besides restrictive air flow?
I have plans on FI my HR soon but I want to keep the exhaust tone down. I heard some you-tube clips of HR Z's with ART pipes and a stock exhaust and that's the noise tone I am looking for, basically not loud as hell while only going 40-60 mph.
I'm more worried about long term effects on the car/engine running ART's with a stock exhaust, especially one that's going to be SC soon. Would just changing out the Y-pipe to a motordyne help or would that be just a waste of money? I heard the stock HR Y-pipes were pretty good.
