Default How to perform EVT Relearn without Consult III. ?????

I’m replacing my drivers side VTC cover/housing due to the magnet retarder failing. P0024 DTC and lack of/slow operation during road test.

Once replaced, how do I perform the EVT relearn without the Consult III system?

I have a Matco Maximus computer.

The factory service manual gives you directions. You can also perform the operation Using NDSIII app on android if you have a bluetooth OBD2 reader.

Warm up car to normal operating temperatures. Put shifter in neutral and steering wheel straight ahead. Make sure headlamps, air conditioner, and rear defogger are off. Keep engin between 1800 and 2000 rpm for 20 seconds.

I found the FSM, it says 2200 RPM to 4000 RPM is where you put throttle for at least 20 seconds. I assume that is correct?
