Default 350z hesitation issue(HELP)

Hell I’ve looked all over online and CANT find someone with the same issue. Just bought my 2008 350z and when I put it into drive and press the gas it just revs to about 2000rpm (without moving) with no engagement, then it finally kicks into gear within a couple seconds. Like it’s hesitating. Please help I don’t know if it’s the transmission, fuel pump, etc. or how to even trouble shoot it, please and thanks!

Welcome and you've likely entered limp mode. Start by pulling codes before replacing any parts.

If it's revving to 2k in drive with no movement, you've got a trans issue. Start with the most obvious. Have you checked your trans fluid level with the engine running, at temp, in park?
