I am in dire need of a like new 18"X8" chrome anniversary wheel for a 2006 Z

Just so you know, chroming those wheels can result in degradation which may lead to:





It may have to do with the process (some may be better than others), but I wouldn't take the risk.

MAN, that bites; sorry to see/hear of that.
From the research I've done on the site since I found the sight it appears that neither Nissan, the wheel manufacturer nor the chromer want to take credit/blame for the weakening of the wheels; which leaves us screwed.
Thanks for the info.
Question; most of the pics I have seen are of front wheels- is this because they take the brunt of the rough roads or becuase they are a tad thinner?

I'm kinda stuck for a while... I saved for quite a while for wheels to replace my 6 spoke chrome wheels that were pitted from salt(Indiana car) to the point that they took turns breaking the seal and leaking without warning.
Now that I have these it is back to saving again but this time for aftermarket wheels.
