Are there any local tracks that hold high performance driving events in the Vancouver area (100 km radius)? If so what are the names of the tracks? Thanks in advance.

Cool thanks. I did look them up but it seemed that the most popular venue is drag racing. Do they and local clubs hold regular track days on the road course as well?

Thanks for the info, I'll definitely check it out. I do own a Z (2003 CS) but don't live in town. BC is however 1 of 3 possible moves for me so I wanted to check out the local driving clubs and track enthusiast scene. I do about 6+ events a year as it stands and I'd like to continue this after I move. Thanks again.
You are welcome, let me know if you decided to move in, I do attend quite a few events each year.

Cool, looks like I'll be there soon. Just waiting on a final offer and then the work permit. I'll definitely be working towards becomming a Mission Raceway regular
Also would you happen to have any car enthusiast meet, tuning shop, or other related resources to share? The Nissan tuning community here in the San Francisco area is pretty active so I'd love to continue the same types of events and activities in Vancouver if possible. Oh sorry, but are there other tracks in the area? Thinking of tracks that are suitable for day trips (within 150km)? Thanks again for all your help.

Hi there, I saw your other post about possibly moving to Burnaby, that's great news, because that means next time I go to track days, we can go together! Actually there are a few other local autox or Z car events, I'll definetly show you more once you arrive. When are you planning to make the move?

Sounds great, I've signed a deal for employment so moving up is now a certainty. I've been looking at Mission Raceway and it looks real nice. I've never auto-x'd but I'd love to give it a go, same goes for dragging which it looks like MR supports. As it stands I have 1 more track day at my local track (Infineon Raceway) then I'm done for the year
Can't wait to get my Z up to Vancouver though. Just need to get my lights wired to support day time running

Sounds good! when will you be landing here?
I am storing my Z for the winter in my garage at the moment, hopefully spring come sooner so I can bring her back out to enjoy some sun tan
It rains a lot in the winter around here. I am a long time member of a local autox club (in fact probably the most successful autox club in Canada), it'll be fun autox the Z too.

That's excellent. Could you please forward links to local track clubs, auto-x, and Z enthusiast groups if you have them handy? Oh and if you know of any quality tuning shops in the area please do list those as well. Trying to build up my Z database before heading up
I'm definitely down to try some auto-X but I'll probalby be terrible at first and probably can't run in the stock class

Tuning shop wise, There isn't really a reputable Z shop around, but I do know a few shops that prep race cars and has lots of experience in take care of sports cars, I can show you that later.
