Anyone on the boards live here? Started looking around for homes in this area and am trying to get feedback from folks who are more famiiar with the area. If you do live out here, what is the commute look like going towards Burnaby? Thanks in advance.

My girlfriend lives there (I stay there 5 days a week) at Westwood plateau near johnson and panorama, one of those townhouses. Travelling to north burnaby in the morning u will take barnet highway, takes u about 20 min to hastings/willingdon area. If u are going to EA ( i think u work for them right?), u will take highway one, takes approx. 25min. I like the area alot, very new area and very clean, lots of nice people and nice cars. it has a big mall, so everything is there (future shop, best buy, superstore...etc) there's a morrey nissan\/infiniti dealership there too, make fixing rear axel clicking problem easier (only if they are willing to fix it under warranty anyway...)

Hi Gary, thanks for the info, and yes I do work at EA. We actually were in contract for a home near the top of Parkway Blvd., by the golf course but the sellers decided to stay and had a 4 day contingency to pull out. Figured this would happen since they insisted on the extra time. So we're starting up the search again.

 

If you see a Silver-Gray S2000 in the parking lot its my friends'... he works at EA too...
