New Sask Z owner
Hi;
I just got my Redline 05 Touring (6-speed) up from the U.S. and have officially joined the Z world after a number of years with a series of NA and turbo Rx-7's. Currently waiting for new tires (long story) before I can get the car safetied and complete the import inspection, and then I'll be on the road. I did put a 24 hour permit on the car on the weekend and really enjoyed driving it. Very torquey compared to the rotaries with corresponding snappy throttle response. My 88 T II is, shall we say, modified a bit, however, and I suspect that it is ultimately a little faster than the Z (or maybe it just feels that way because of the 'turbo lag followed by shot out of a slingshot' feeling that comes with the turbo).
Anyway, can't wait to get on the road with the car, and I'm really looking forward to being able to floor the car on a regular basis without holding my breath to see if the engine blows up every time : ) What a concept.
