Any US imported Z owners here?
hey I own an 04' Z imported from the us and from reading the FSM it doesn't seem like there is any way to change any of the readings from imperial to metric (speed, temp, etc) I'm going to Nissan tomorrow to pick some stuff and am planning on asking the same question.
IMO it's not worth the money. The only thing I might do is change the gauge face to this: http://cgi.ebay.ca/03-05-Nissan-350Z...ayphotohosting
Other than that it's not important to me. Nissan told me $3500

Slightly off topic but does anyone know if the rear view mirror homelink setup is different between US and Canada cars? I have a US car but I can't get my setup to accept the remote code for my parking garage.
Thanks for the tip but I just tried it again tonight, after downloading the instructions from the homelink website. I got the slow blink and kept hitting my remote button every two seconds but the light did not flash any faster. It eventually just turned off. Does the fact that this is a condo parkade remote have anything to do with this or does it matter. It's not the "original remote" because there are a couple of hundred for my building. ARGH!
Most of the apartment/condo complexes use a rolling code type of receiver. In my old complex the only way to program my car's transmitter was to hold the reset/learn button on the garage door opener -- which I couldn't do without the building supervisor's permission and help.
My home one is also a rolling code type but I was able to get someone to help me by pressing the reset/learn button while I did the push-button programming in the car.
IIRC.. this is mentioned and covered in the owner's manual
