Default New Toy for my Toy.

Just picked this up this evening.

I love it, I think it might sleep next to it tonight.

NICE! Since you are already at the "max" on a stock block, I am assuming this is for the bling factor. Either way, it's an awesome looking toy. I see you got a tracking number for all your CF stuff, you must be relieved.

I got such a good deal on the piece I couldn't turn it down.

I am going to put it on and turn down the boost. Make a trip to the dyno and make sure everything is within the limits I want and go from there.

I want the power to be around 370 at the Wheels just to be safe. I have A LOT of events to make this year. I have a spare motor to use as a core right now, but no money for a built bottom end yet.

I also just received these:

As for the carbon fiber stuff. I have a valid tracking number but the paperwork is filled out wrong so it can't clear customs. It won't be here for at least another 10 days now. Man, that transaction has been a bit of a nightmare.

That's what I am shooting for too, 360whp would be fine too. Hopefully I can achieve that with a 6psi spring.

This is not fair, all you guys got a head start on me lol, so much more stuff to do down the road. Now I have to play catch up...but that's ok..can't have it all righ away. Can't wait to see all the cars when we get together for a meet.

I can't wait to see your beast all finished up! With that built motor, Quaiffe LSD, and the Standalone it should be a hoot.

It's funny that we each are building our cars quite a bit, but for different uses.

A get together would make for some great conversation thats for sure.

That sounds like an N-E-C-C meet they are usually at Hawerlack. We had one at my house last year and one at United Cycle and we met at Castrol raceway the last event of the year.

I was doing some math in my head today i am doing my part to stimulate the performance industry. I think I will be well over $25,000 in work to my car this winter.

^^ That's more than my car with all the mods I have done so far. Is your place of work hiring? I am assuming that a large part of that goes to Cam@ Lightspeed.

I never add up what I spend on the car. That way I can always justify my next purchase.

I have never sat down and added up the recipts I would be scared to lots of small things you dont really think of ...I bought $200 worth of gaskets the other day. My wife has started to take notice ( too many UPS deliverys) so she does some adding for me. Although I would be broke if she didnt help keep a handle on my spending.

Lightspeed has got a bit this year for the ECU wiring and tuning and i buy most of my parts from them. I try to do what I can for labor myself. When I am busy at work I cant get much done on the car.....but then I have $$$$ to send it to Lightspeed.

$25k?!? I didn't pay that for my car. Yes, I have to agree that M is a very understanding lady.
