Im getting 19x9 26et 19x10.5 19et.

19mm on a 10.5 will work, but if you are going to lower the car you will have to cut or roll the fender and or run no larger then a 275/35/19 so you can stratch the side wall...

I was planning on getting Tein Springs, which lower the car about 0.7" am i going to have a rubbing problem then, eventhough i am not running tires larger than 275/35/19?

yeah, you should roll your fenders... if you take very hard corners or hard acceleration the rear may rub..

what would be a better offset option? what does realy the offset do, is it just for the lip to look deeper?

dependson the wheel with if the offset makes the lip bigger or not...

But what the offset does is bring the wheel further out in the wheel well... if you look at the stock wheels they are tucked under... lets say they have a +38mm offset... (i dont remember exactly what it is off the top of my head)... If you were to make that offset +18mm then the wheels would be pulled out almost an inch further out in the wheel well...

+19mm on a 10.5" wheel will be sticking out rite flush with the fender, almost out a little further...

my wheels are 18x10.5 +30mm and this is what I had to do with my fenders (I still need to clean them up just havent had a chance too )

My car is at full slam so the camber angle is also in a bit more then stock... if I had +19mm offset on my rims the tire would be getting 11mm closer to the fender then it is now and would rub with the 295/35/18 rubber I have on them now not on the top of the fender, but on the back near where the bumper meets the fender...

lower offset will also give you an overall wider wheel stance...

this shows where it comes close to rubbing...

Here is a set of wheels with a 18x9.5 +15mm offset... see how far the wheel is sticking out from the fender?

is he/she using stock suspension? does it rub with the fender on speed bumps or gutters? the reason i'm asking is because i might get some 18x9.5 +12 offset for the rear and i'm using stock suspension. thanks.

the Yellow Z has stock suspension in the pictures... With the 275/40/18 tires you can rub if you are hitting corners hard enough...

you may want to roll or cut your fenders especially if you plan on lowering the car..

i was actually not planning on lowering my car. i might get some 18x8.5 +30 offset and 18x9.5 +12 and was thinking about using my stock rear tires (245/45) for the 18x8.5's and buying either 275/40 or 285/40 for the 18x9.5. do you think that would work?

I don't know if it's the same way with every fender, but I watched my friend roll his fender on a Porsche 944 by using a baseball bat. He put a towel on the bat and pushed the fender in by using the tire as a support for the bat.

If you check out our rear fender underneith not what is visible you will notice almost and inch of metal hanging over... You can either cut it away or roll it up (like a fold)

Rolling fenders can be hard to do without cracking paint... so alot of places will not roll them... More and more places CUT the fenders like I did... I did a quick chop shop job just because I didnt have the time to clean it up and make it smooth...

There is the old base ball bat method you can always do too

with the 18x8.5 the front will look tucked in and the rear is going to look like it sticks out... you may want to put some spacers on the front to bring them out to +20mm (10mm spacer will do that)...

It will work, but once your shock compresses more then an inch and a half your tire is going to rub on the fender...

This car acually has +30mm in the front...

so, it is not that bad as it sounds, so do you think my wheels would look nicer with the offset that im getting, or would they look about the same with a different offset (that would not make me roll or cut my fenders)?

I have the RH J5's (19x9 and 19x10.5), i'm guessing i have the same offset and I also have tein s tech springs. I am no where close to being able to rub. I could easily fit a 295/35 with no problems. I'm not positive about what my offsets are but i didn't there were too many available offsets with these wheels in these sizes.

Do you think getting 19"x10 with the same 19 offset, would be much better. Am i still going to have rubbing problems with this wheels when lowering the car?

I will check with f1 and see what my offsets were but if you are getting the same offsets as me, there is no possibility of rubbing with the tire sizes you specified. With a lower drop it might be a problem, but not with the tein s techs. I will get back to you if i find out there is a different offset than you are getting.
