I went canyon running last night in my Z and i had a great time. I was just thinking to myself after though that i may want to swap out the tires from my nitto 555 to something a little more grippy. my tires suck royally in the rain anyway. What tires do you guys like and why? I'm running 245-40-18s front and 275-40-18s rear.

I've had on other cars falken azenis (no in our size of course) on my evo, advans on the evo, toyo t1s on my accord. My father's bmw has pirelli p zero rossos, and those are nice too.

I am thinking of running with yokohama avs sports, or stepping up to SO3s, or pirelli pzeros.

I am familiar with a lot of tires, but haven't had the chande to try different ones out on the z.

 

I have run the stock Bridgestones, Toyo Proxes, and G-force KDW's on the Z. The KDW's are by far the best on dry roads. Proxes might have a slight advantage in the wet. I ran the Yokohama AVS and Pirelli P-zero Nero's on an M3 before the Z. The Pirelli's get my vote there. If you want an all weather tire go with the Pirellis.
