can i use my stock rear tires off my g35 coupe (245-45-18) for the new lmgt4 front wheels(8.5 width) and use 275-40-18 after market tires for the wheels? will this effect the look?

Yes, but you're going to have a tall sidewall in the front.

 

my buddy has g with volk le37t in 18".
its not lm-gt4 but same width. 18x8.5F, 9.5R.
he put stock tires for now and those fit and drive well but looks not slick as 275.
but if you don't have money to buy wheels/tires same time, go for it. it works.
