best of luck!

okay, i just found out the offsets available for this wheel. If i want to run 255/275 stagger with 18x9f and 18x10r, would the following offsets look good? Which would be best for my z? i do not plan to install a bbk anytime soon.
fronts: 22mm with 69mm lip
rear: 22mm with 81mm lip (also available in 24mm, 29mm offsets)
fronts: 22mm with 69mm lip
rear: 22mm with 81mm lip (also available in 24mm, 29mm offsets)

unfortunately the front wheel will be tucked in alot more than the rears with that setup. your looking at an even offset front to rear but 2 inches difference in wheel width. when you have a difference of 1" front to rear(width) the same offset works out perfect as far as eveness goes. honestly zboy, the 255 will be a tad bulky on an 8" rim. the 2mm lighter offset they offer in the rear wont make up for how less agressive the front will look......now im talking here as if you ARE as **** as i am about the tires fitting the wheels & where your wheels sit in your fender well. with those wheel sizes you are loking to buy i would say the best offsets would be around 22mm rear & 16mm front. if you run a 8.5" wheel up front then 22mm all around would look perfect. im not saying you cant run those offsets or that it would look terrible, just a tad more sucked in in the front. the 255/35 tire would make it look a little less tucked since there will be more meat in terms of tire width. mabey thats what your looking for....im a bit opinionated, hope i helped!

To clarify, i'm looking at 18x9"f (not 8") in front. Would this wheel width with the 22mm offset make the 255/40/18 tire fit and look ok up front?
I'll wait for your response to this question before i ask if 275/40/18 tires on 18x10r will look good and complementary in the back with a 22 offset in back.

zboy, im sorry, im completely had the wrong wheel size figured for your front. i thought for some reason you were going with 18x8 & 18x10, sorry about that....with the 1" width stagger between the wheels the 22mm front & rear offset will look great! very aggesssive looking & even with the fenders front to rear!! the 255 will look much better on a 9" rim than an 8" rim of course. but with that offset i cant guarentee you will not rub under hard cornering on the front inner fender. i know you would be fine with a 245/40 & 275/40 as im sure you know. the 255 is about .400" wider than the 245. it doesnt sound like much bit really shows up when it comes to tires...........as for the rear with 275/40, that tire will look great on a 10" wheel. i believe that tire/wheel/offset combo is the max w/o rubbing in the rear. will be very close front & rear but look agressive as heck! i run 19x8.5 & 19x9.5 with 245/35 & 275/35 tires. i have a 15mm front & 20mm rear. your front rim will sit about exactly where mine does wich is dead flush & your rear will sit a shade outward more than mine wich will be dead flush! i could have went 15mm front/rear to be dead flush but i feared rubbing the fenders in the rear. i wish i could tell you for sure that your tires wont rub on hard corners but i cant. it will be very close! if your willing to do a little fender rolling if needed your setup will be very hott! sorry i cant be of anymore help, i dont want to lead you to believe somthing that isnt true.......best of luck!

z boy, i snapped a few pics along time back before i lowered my z. sorry about the crappy shots, i used my cell ph camera...this will give you an idea of where my wheels sit in relation to the fender. your front will be in the exact location while your rears will barely sit out further than mine......

you can also get an idea of how the 245's fit a 8.5" wheel & how the 275's fit a 9.5" wheel. the 255's will look bulkier than my 245's & the 275's would look a tad less bulky than what you see on mine. im pretty happy with the overall fitment with tires & offset though! hope the pics can help as well........
