Axis Wheels?
I'm lookin at wheels for my Z. I found a couple of Axis wheels that I really like, but I don't know the quality of this company. Are Axis wheels a good quality wheel? For the most part are they light weight? I can get a SSR's at wholesale but I cant find a style that I like. Should I buy the pretty Axis wheels or go with the light, tried and true SSR's?
Thanks.
Thanks.
axis wheels are ok but not the best quality from what i've seen. But for the price they aren't bad. Some of the wheels aren't too heavy like the reverb, but some are, it depends. Go with whatever you like the best.
IIRC all Axis wheels are cast. They aren't as heavy as say Motegi's, but they still weigh a decent amount more than forged products. Also the larger the lip, the more weight .. even on Volks n stuff. (compare the GT stuff w/lips vs the TE37s .. the one exception seems to be the LE37t's)
I'd get forged, but thats always been my preference.

Axis wheels are a very good quality for short money. mesh, hiro, reverb, and milano are all a great looking wheel. i have some great prices on these wheels. in all sizes and color options. give me a call and we can go over what it is that you are interested in.

if your going with a silver simple wheel, like my supermesh's, you can't go wrong,
for the money they are great.
i've had the milano's the hiro's and now the supermesh.

I have the axis supermesh on my g35 sedan. great wheels! I even hit a curb so bad that I thought for sure it was ruined. I have a half inch little knick and you cant even tell it was curbed. Anybody have a hook up to axis wheels? I need some 19" 9x5 for the rear. thanks!

if you can do you have milano's? if so i'll trade you.
milano's were the first axis wheels i had on the z, and i love them the best.

I would spend little more money and get SSR's. Especially if you can get it at wholesale. You might want to think about getting the SSR GT3 or GT1. Those wheels look great.
I had SSR GT3 on my Z before and my old car was Acura TL-S which had SSR GT1's. Now my brother drives the TL-S.
I have a set of SSR GT3 with tires that I am thinking of selling after I fix the curb rash on the wheels if you are interested.
