need a little more info on diamond cut and polished lip

what are the differences of the diamond cut to the polished lip? is there a difference, is it visual?? Thanks

On my Ray's, I had the lip polished. I think that the diamond cut is just a more refined process. For me, the Ray's were just for track, so polished was fine. I did that so when I have new tires mounted, the powdercoating wouldn't chip.

Zeph's wild guess,
LE37T = diamond cut (one piece with the brushed aluminum look)
GT7's = Polished lip (since the piece can separate from the rim)
Since the two piece wheels can be completely treated separate from the inner wheel, it's polished. The single piece wheels need to be precision cut to get that clean look around the brim. Polish is more chrome looking while diamond looks brushed.
Again, just my wild@ss guess.

Diamond is the finish on the cheaper wheels from what I've seen. It's shiny but not near as good as full polish. It's not as bright and has a bunch of lines in it.
