I just received my 20" iForged wheels today in time for X'Mas (thanks to Paul @ Avalon Racing). Sizes are 20x9 front with 2.0" lip, and 20x10 rear with 3" lip.
The build quality on these wheels are unbelievable! Those of you that are still waiting for your iForged, hang on, the wait is worth it!
I have a newbie question. Looking at the rear wheel, the lips look smaller than what I see in pictures of other Z's with the same 20x10 rear as I do. Can anyone explain why some people have 20x10's with a 3.5", 4.0", or 4.5" lip? I dont' quite get it. I was really expecting a fatter lip than a 3.0" rear. BTW, my wheels are configured for the Greddy GREX bbk kit.
Can anyone post pics of their mounted 20" wheels (iForged or not) with a 3.0" lip? My wheels have yet to be mounted so I wanted to see what they look like before hand.

I got the iForged Evolution's. Does anyone have pics of a 3" lip mounted on their Z? The front lip is fine, but I was really expecting a fatter lip for the rear (something like 3.5" to 4" lip).
What do you people think? Is a 3" lip still look 'good' for the rear? The lips on the wheels always tend to look a lot deeper before the tires are mounted. BTW, I'm getting skinny tires (Toyo's 245/35/20 fronts, 275/30/20 rears).
Pics will come soon.

the config for your BBK is the difference. The offset has to change to allow clearance behind the wheel face for the bigger brake kit which reduces the space in front of the wheels face.
I think a 3" lip will look fine. IMO, where ppl screw up on rims is not matching the right offset to the car and having the entiresunken into the wheel well. You should be fine though, my Iforged from Avalon were perfect. I specified NO big break kit for the rear though and asked for the deepest lip possible.
Good luck with your wheels and post pics.

3" lip is very conservative , my friend has a red 350Z with HRE`s and he has a 4" lip in the rear. I honestly thought iForged was aggressive on the lip size apparently not. For that I would have gone with the Volk GTC`s 20" guaranteed to get a 4" lip !!!!!!

I was hoping for a bigger lip too. I shouldn't have specificed which BBK. At least something like a 3.5" or 4" lip would've been perfect. Another member on these boards (damen) has a rear 3.5" lip on a G35 coupe, and it looks really deep dish. I wonder how a 3" lip will differ visually.

with a bbk you cant have a 4" lip. I have the first set of iforged wheels with 4" lips on a brembo car (one of the only ones actually, since they don't fit, and thats why they don't sell them like that anymore). I have to use a 2mm spacer to not rub the paint off my brakes. 3" will still look great.

I was getting concerned because I didn't see a single Z or G with iForged wheels with a 3" lip in the rear. Minimum was 3.5".
But now that I recall, almost all with fat lips had stock calipers.
I opted for the GREX BBK, but now I"m probably going to stick with StopTech's since I measured using their template, and it looks like their 14" front/rear kit will clear my wheels.
I guess those rear GREX have FAT calipers because the 14" Stoptechs template leaves a 1/2" or more clearance in the rear wheels.

Also wanted to ask you guys.
What's the difference between going with a 'skinny' tire setup (245 front / 275 rear), as opposed to a fat tire setup (255 front / 285 rear). Is it just purely for aesthetics? Someone please enlighten me.

Thanks for the feedback everybody.
Can't wait to get my Toyo tires from Z1 so I can see what the wheels will look like mounted.
Does anyone here have a 2" lip up front and 3" lip on rear, with pictures?
I will post pics of my un-mounted 20" iForged soon.

I re-measured the rear wheel and it's NOT a 3" lip as I had first stated. It's actually only a 2 1/2" lip =( I'm a little disappointed because I was expecting a bigger lip for the rear (fronts are 2" lip and just right for me). Nevertheless, the wheels look awesome! The rear lip is still deep dish IMO.
I guess I have no choice now but to stick with the GREX big brake kit, since the wheels are configured for them and there's no turning back now.
The GREX BBK is a little more costly than the 14" StopTech kit (roughly $400 ~ $600 more), but on the plus side, it will definitely set my car apart and it adds a little extra bling =)
