Default MOMO FXL Forged (20")

Hello all!

This is a fairly new product which I am seriously considering.
http://shop.store.yahoo.com/ltbmotorsport/momofxl.html

The manufacturer chart lists the following sizes for the Z:
Nissan 350Z / G35
Front: 8.5 x 20
Rear: 10.0 x 20

Does anybody know?

go for it... they look awesome, never seen them before. if you have 4800 dollars for wheels alone (without tires), more power to you. the wheels look amazing and they are unique!

Thanks kinjal!

I will be building a full Nismo Z, and was originally considering the Silver Nismos in 19", but I still don't know since those are really too plain.

I've always had MOMOs, so the idea of goinf for these FXLs is very strong.

My original project starts with something like the Silver shown here:

What do you guys think?

I think the MOMO wheels are insanely nice. These are some of the nicest wheels I have seen for a Z. I am a fan of the classic five spoke design, and these wheels are perfect. Good spoke size, nice lip, 3 piece forged, 20 inches! they are the perfect wheel.

In regards to your plan to have a Full Nismo Z, in the picture you attached, I think the LeMans Sunset Car has better ground effects. The veilside V.1 lip, greddy sides are an impeccable combination. I think the fit the lines of the z better than the nismo body kit. But to each his own. Lastly, make sure you DO NOT get the nismo spoiler. The 350z was not meant to have a spoiler. I think of the 350z as a japanese porshche 911. Imagine a spoiler like that on a porsche. Thats my opinion!

Imagine? Say a Porsche GT2 or GT3?
I believe the Nismo spoiler design was inspired by those cars.
From video game concept to actual product.

I'm not a huge fan of the current Nismo spoilers either but we can't deny where the design is derived from.

But I digress....back to the wheels!

i dont even know if expensive is the proper word. after consulting my dictionary & thesaurus, i think the proper adjective for these wheels is something way beyond expensive, so lets call them... EXORBITANT. I think it is much more fitting for a 5000 set of wheels.

20's too big. make the z look too bleh. IMO of course. stick to 19's.

Is that price per wheel or per pair? Per wheel is utterly outrageous, if it's for the pair then seems pretty reasonable.

I heard a person once say that from a marketing perspective, most people will not spend over 10% for wheels vs the price of the car. Again, that is most people, not meaning you.

Thank you all for your comments.

kinjal: I agree with you that the Nismo body kit is far from flawless. I wish they wold have made it better. Nevertheless, eventhough I also have several reservations about the Nismo Spoiler from the rear-view, the side is definitely an improvement.

Regarding the price comments, I agree, these babies are high-$$, but then again, you only live once!

Anybody have any rubbing concerns with the 20"??? I've seen several cars in this forum that have that diameter, so I was wondering if anyone has any bad experience with that?

Thank you all!

20 inch wheels on a Z? Please, dont. The wheels look fantastic but I would look at something in the 18" category. Are you trying to change ur tranny in a couple of years? :/
