Default Increasing wheel width

I currently have 8x18" rims all round , im thinking about putting wider wheels on the rear say 10, or 9.5x18 , would this mess up my abs or any of the other saftey features of the car ?

Cheers

Wider wheels do not mess up any sensor on the car. Your tire choice may mess with your VDC or TCS however. Also you may not be able to get the TPS sensor remounted on your new rim which would then mess with the TPS setup. If you have a Base model, then none of this matters and go for it.
