What are they and what do they do?

Are they neccessary to replace when getting new sway bars? I ask this because Nismo has their new sways with links included, yet you could get the same sways without from 350evo.

The end links are what connect the swaybar to the suspension of the car. The stock OEM end link is a fixed lenght, with no adjustment, and the end links have rubber bushings to help reduce ride harshness.

The Heim-jointed end-links have solid metal spherical bearings in place of the rubber bushings so that there is not play in the end-link, also they are adjustable length wise so that any pre-load can be taken out of the sway-bar.

Bottom line, if the car is just driven on the street, you are ok with the stock end-links, but is the car sees any track use, the heim-jointed end links make a difference
