new tires for my track ray

i need to replace my track tires..i'm thinking...hmm
235/40/18 front
255/40/18 rear
is this ok??
or should i go with 35 series front and back?
if i go with 35 series, will it lower my car bit more?

245 in front
40 series not 35
everything else is good.
