The spare on a non-Track Z is 16" and on a Track Z the spare is 17", so presumably the 16" wheel will not clear the Brembo brakes.

What is solution to this issue of spare tire not fitting over larger brakes than car came with?

 

I need a solution for my BBK too. I've looked online for spares, but can't find anything

 

The larger 17" spare from the Track model DOES clear the 13" Stoptech BBK. I have one!

 

My solution is to hope I don't get a flat. Plus I plan on picking up a set of track wheels or others as back ups in case I do get a flat, but I still won't carry a spare tire. If it goes flat I will have the car towed home or go get the wheel and bring it back to the car to change it. I have the 14" Stoptechs so no spare will work.

 

The Track spare is over $300!!!

My solution is going to be same as a GT3 Porsche which goes without a spare:

Porsche sealing compound kit part # 999.915.631.40 plus a small compressor to inflate the flat tire.

This will save weight as well as money
