So on to the question... any advice on what color to paint brake calipers on a daytona blue Z?

Trying to decide between red, blue and black...

 

Red is the only way to go. The blue paint that I've seen isn't as deep as DB, it almost looked powder blue - you wouldn't want that. Black would be almost unnoticable. Sorry I don't have a picture of mine to upload (at work).

Do a search of the Wheels/Tires forum for "caliper paint" and you'll find a bunch of threads and somewhere in those are several examples of a DB with red.

 

This is all you need to see to tell what I voted for:

 

Red is too bright, black is too dark, blue on blue would look bad...

Go silver or gold

 

Red would look best IMO, but silver would also look pretty good.

gold's actually not a bad idea... but it makes it look like i want to have brembos when i don't (i.e. ricey)

any pics/thoughts on black calipers with blue graphics? how about black with red graphics?

as for silver... i never understood why... arn't our stock calipers already silver to begin with??
