Default Correct Tire Fit? New Volks

I purchased a set of 19"X8.5" and 19"X9.5" Volk GTC's in Winning Gold. I recieved the wheels and couldnt be happier. I orderd tires and orderd 245.35.19 for the front and 275.30.19 for the back. I was told by the person I orderd them from they would fit and work fine. I then was told by another member, that my fronts will be bigger than the rears. I orderd Falken ST-115's and they dont make a 275.35.19 so am I ok?

Here are pics:

Plus will the stock wheel locks work on these, or will I need new ones, if so what do you recommend? Thanks a bunch guys!

nice wheels, but if you bothered to read the threads about wheel and tire sizes on this site by Discount Tires, you're not supposed to run smaller tires in back.

Running a 275/30 in the rear will throw off your VDC. I would cancel the rear tire and go with a 275/35/19. These tires will fit and should have no rubbing issues and will not throw off your VDC if it is equipped on your car. As far wheels locks go, I would highly recommend getting new wheels locks, we have the McGard wheels locks either in black or chrome and wheel also have the Rays Dura lug nuts in various colors and theyre available in short or long. www.mynismo.com and check out the wheel accessory section.

The only problem is on Discount tire direct I would of orderd 275.35.19 but falken doesnt make them...They make a 275.35.18 and a 275.35.20 so do they just not make it or ?

Im not too familiar with Falken tires sizes because I only order Falken tires for Sentra Nismo wheels not being any bigger than 17 inches. I guess it can be a possiblity that Falken does not make that tire size, if you want to go with a different tire I can help you find the right set. I honestly would recommend gong with Bridgestone S03 PP and they have the correct tire sizes available for your wheels.

I dont think it should be too noticable but then again, Im not quite sure how **** youre about your car. Seeing the rear tires being thinner then the front tires to me would bother the crap out of me.

LOL, my bad bro. Yea those wheels will look hot on your G. I was deciding if I should get bronze wheels when I get my Daytona Blue Track but I dont think I have the ***** to go that extreme, when it comes to colors I think Im a little conservative but it will look super hot on your car.

Discount is not the only tire vendor, and falken is not the only tire manufacturer.

Well Z BOY Im on a limited budget, Falken I was told was the best for my money and tread life. Im not a drifter or any racer, Im just in it for the looks. So the performance doesnt matter much, I just want something witha known name. Discount is local to me, and I just felt like making the order. I know there are many more, but free mounting and 15 bux per wheels for balancing. I understand what your saying but I'm a 16 yr kid with no job, and saves all his lunch money so ya lol

Look at Dunlop SP9000s. They come in the proper sizes, are not to expensize, and IMO, are a super tire and are carried by Discount tire. Or:

awright, lil bro, i understand. i had a "bitchin", lifted, dodge tradesman 200 van with huge tires when i was your age, so i know where yr comin from. BTW, i totalled said bitchin van at your age one night when lit on too many lowenbrau and too much sinsemilla; took a corner too fast, rolled sideways off road and down embankemnt, was in a coma for two days. After that, i drove a chevy vega (a real babe magnet ). I prolly would be dead if i had been driving a z, so be careful!!!
If you're in it for the looks, DON'T get smaller wheels in the back. This site is great for finding tire options, and Costco is even cheaper than Discount, in my experience. Good luck lil bro.

well, there are always another alternative. You could change the front one from 245/35/19 to 235/35/19, it would be a tiny stretch, but it will still fit just perfect, since it is capable to handle rim size from 8 to 9.5! and the 235/35/19 overall diameter height is 25.4, and the rear 275/30/19 has 25.7. so you could still have the front slightly smaller than the rear by 0.3 difference! Just a thought!

btw, just want to tell you that is a great choice of wheels! I want the same exact set up except in 9.5 and 10.5. Great job!!!
