Default Please Help 19" GT-C Need Spacers?

I just got home from trying to put on LBC TRD's rims. They are 19" Volk GT-C.

19x8.5 Front + 27
19x9.5 Rear + 24

Since LBC TRD's car got hydrolocked, it's in the shop and we didnt' have access to whatever part I am missing to make this work. LBC TRD was also not there, instead it was me, my cousin and his dad. His dad brought home the wheels so he was not too sure what was suppose to be in there.

Now we got 3 of the rims in, the 2 rears and the front right side. The problem is that we couldn't get the dam bolts to align with the wholes on the rims. We were there for 4 hours trying to get the front 2 aligned. I somehow got the front right in, but after an hour of trying the front left, we just gave up. Do I need a spacer? If so can somebody please direct me to what spacer I will be needing (Brand, size, etc.)? I have no idea on how a spacer works. Is this normal?

I don't have aftermarket rims but in reading some posts I believe there's a screw in front that needs to be removed to install aftermarket rims. It's there to make sure that you don't put OEM rear tires in front? that's what I read anyways. someone correct me if I'm wrong...

i know that on the g35c 6mt, there's a screw/nut that i had to remove in order to put on my aftermarket rims. probably the same w/ the Z.

You need to take out the screw on the front. You also need to install a hub centric ring on each of the four wheels. Do not drive the car without those.

like Wrendon said, there's a safety screw on the front tires from the factory to prevent people from switching front and rear wheels as the widths of the tires are different. Just take it off. You don't need it with aftermarket wheels. I have the same wheels in the same size and offset, fits right on.

Good luck.
