In the pic I have 255/45 17" Kumho MX tires. I have a set of 255/40 Falkin RT-615's waiting to be installed. I run the same size wheels & tires on all 4 corners. I'll be running 2 more HPDE's with the MX's before I switch, but I can't wait to experience the RT's!

Excellent. I'll be running the same tires as you, specs and all. Can't wait to get my Stoptech BBK though. Did you consider the 255/40/17 Kumho MX's? I was going to go with these first but Discount Tire Direct doesn't seel this size for some reason. Lastly, happen to have any more pics of your car with this setup on? Thanks in advance.
I just found the weights of my MB wheels with 255/45 MX's. 47 Lbs. OEM 17" wheel & tires, F: 50 Lbs, R: 52 Lbs. Nice savings for a larger cast wheel.
Yes, I thought about the 255/40 size, but at the time I chose not to deviate much from the OEM diameters. If I were to do it again, I'd get the 40 series. Better gearing, and they SHOULD have a stiffer sidewall.
I got them through DTD about a year ago.
Found a couple pics that will fit the limits here.

Thanks for the pics EnthuZ, they look awesome! Placed my order with the folks at Discount Tire Direct and it sounds like they take orders till the have enough to fill a container, then they ship so there's no real firm date as to when I'll get these. I did however order them with the Falken 615's in 255/40/17 so I can't wait to get them on the track, plus I've since sold my 18 OEM's so all I have right now are my street wheels

Last question EnthuZ. Is that the stock height you are running or are you lowered. If so by how much? Thanks again. Oh and the wheels just came in. Next track date is 6.24, can't wait to try these out
I might be selling mine soon (MB Competitions) if your interested in buying used? Their in great condition.
Thanks.

Thanks.
Thanks.
I'm willing to sell the wheels only for $400.00 even. Let me know...
I will need tires of course, but don't need them right now. It's so hot here in AZ in the summer that there are no track days until the fall. So I really don't need them immediately. I still have my 18" set of track wheels with good tires that I need to use up anyway.
No offense, but right now Discount Tire has free shipping on wheels. At $139 a wheel, that's only $556 shipped, new with full warranty. Your price of $400 for used (plus shipping?) is not such a bargain. I 'll offer you $375 shipped. I can pay you via Pay Pal or any method that you like.

No, my Z isn't lowered in the pictures. It's a bit lower now with the 255/40's. I forget my math, soooooo, not sure how much I've lowered. But my speedo at 80 mph is now actually about 75 mph. I was at a HPDE today, and I hit my rev limiter on the front straight about 34 yards before my previous braking point, where I hadn't hit the limiter before!
I WILL be lowering soon though....about 20mm, with the Unitech/Truechoice kit.
And, I will be installing a 3.9 REAL soon!
