Default 295-35-18 on a 9.5 rim?

Will a 295 fit on a 9.5 rim fine? Thanks, got new wheels 18x9.5 and 8.5. Was going to put the stock rear tires on front and buy two new rear tires for the 9.5 rim. Thanks.

Probably not. According to the Tirerack.com site, the acceptable rim size range for those size tires is 10" to 11½". 285 appears to be the largest recommended for a 9½" wheel.

It will fit. I have that exact setup on my mustang. The tire will bulge slightly.

I have 275/35 on a 9 1/2" 19 and they fill them out perfectly with a slight bulge. Check my "pics of my new setup" thread below.
