Ok, so I just got my Z her new shoes. I have a track with the OEM rims, but I understand the other 18" ones are the same widths. Fronts are 245/40R18 and rears are 265/40R18. They fit great with no bulge and no stretch.
Just thought I'd share.

Did you consider a 274/40. I have been considering Goodyear F1 GS D3s. 245/40/28 on the front and 275/40/18 on stock touring rims. Supposed to be 18X8s allaround.
any reason for the PS2 over the others?

I know that 265 is already stretching it a little and I don't really want that much disparity between front and back. Remember that width can be different between manufacturers and the track rims are 8" in the front and 8.5" in the back.
I picked the PS2s cause they are awesome. I've read a bunch of reviews that favor them over the competition and the Tirerack comparo in Super Street sealed the deal.

Like the redline...looks my touring 03. Love the car. I bought from a Porsche BMW Benz dealer. Every saturday morning they have a free, by hand carwash, vacuum, tire shine and a breakfeast with Starbucks coffee. etc. A lot of Boxster owners come and say how much they like the Z. An exceptionial dealer, he has a 03 silver if anbody is interested. Contact David Hemlich at www.isringhausen.com. My redline has 6400 mi with frost interior, 6spd. Flawless.
Hey thank for the tire info. I have also been looking at BFG Goodrich. I had a chacne to by a track and in a way I wish I had. Love the brakes and wheels.
