Default Is it wise for me to fit my own aftermarket rims

Total airhead question I know, but I have to ask.

Rims are on their way to me, completely wrapped in rubber and balanced etc. Can I fit these myself, or should I get somebody to do it? Fairly nervous in case one comes flying off etc, or rubbing occurs.

Please be gentle! thanks

I installed mine myself although I did have to take it to a local tire shop to mount and balance the tires. I've read too many horror stories about scratched rims due to air powered tools or workers who aren't being careful. It's just like changing four flats. Just be sure to get a torque wrench so you can tighten it to spec. After you drive around for a few days, you should recheck the tightness of the lug nuts.
