19s and lowering question.
I have been searching around, and the main three that I seem to find as far as company, ride, and drop are GReddy, Hotchkis, and RSR. I just ordered wheels that are 19x9(245/35/19) front and 19x10(275/35/19) rear. I was told that if for anything, you should get springs to elliminate the wheel hop and stiffness of the ride in the Z. But I do want a noticable drop. I also live in Pittsburgh(hilly)/Erie and you know how bad the roads can get up here.
I have the future in mind so I may be getting a body kit which, odds are, will also add to the "look" of the drop. But I was thinking of getting the hotchkis springs, but from the pictures I have been seeing, I can't even see a difference. I don't want to pay $150 for spings and $70 for allignment to get no notiacble difference. So, what I was wondering is, from the people that have been around or own the hotchkis springs, is the drop noticable? how is the wheel gap? would is cause a problem with my wheels/tires rubbing? Will they be able to be brought to spec by the dealer allignement? Installation is not an issue because I will be doing it myself. Any suggestions or comments would be GREATLY appreciated. Or even recommendations for other springs. I would like Eibach but I think the Z is already pretty low and if you add over a 1" drop + body kit, and I see a lot of damage lol. That and I would have to get camber kits which are VERY expensive on this car. Thanks in advance guys.
