Volk rims more expensive in Japan?

Volk rims more expensive in Japan?

I was just looking at the prices of volk rims in Japan and they seem a lot higher than in us.

1$=108Yen.

There is something wrong with this....

MSRP vs. actual selling price, and Japanese market vs. US market. Also the USD is now = to 108.64 yen

If you take 77,000 yen and it converts to $708.76 and in the USA Volk Catalog it is listed to $730 (for SF-CHallenge in 19x10.5)

but then you have to add shipping and taxes.... so the us price seems cheaper...

If you ship 1000 wheels at a time, it makes a huge difference taht it would for 10 wheels at a time. So if that is the case, they have $22,000 to work with on a shipment of 1000 wheels. I am sure they can work something out.
