need some help buying tires.....
i have ssr prof in 18x9 and 18x10.5 i noticed some people are running for ex 255/35 and 275/35 and some run diff sidewall heights like 255/35 and 275/40 or 255/40 and 275/35..whats the deal with that?
I dont want rubberbands but alot of pics ive seen make the 40 series look huge....im so stressed out about this....how wide should i go what sidewall? im going nut
p.s if you really dont know what your talking ABOUT PLEASE DONT EVEN RESPOND. im not dumb...just lookin for something to unstress my thoughts about this...thanks

i suggest 40
i went from OEM size to 245 40 and 275 40 S03's for my nismo wheels and i could tell a difference.
i usually think of 35 being for 19"s and 40 18"s but either one would be fine, i think you will be fine with 40
but your right ive seen them mixed
like for instance my C6 has 275 40 18 upfront and 285 19 35 in the rear but that is because of the staggered set up running 35/40 on 18"s would look right

Mario...
The 40's on 18s will also allow you to remain a little closer to actual speed on te speedo. Going to 35's on those rims will look like rubber bands, and will affect ride and lateral grip. This is due to the lack of sidewall to absorb a little of the bump and to allow some roll in the tire.
