what kind of tires are you running?

i have 20' axis matrix as well and with the wheels i have it leaves a pretty huge gap between the rim and the tire (which can be bad if i hit a curve). i just don't want there to be any gap at all. right now it kinda looks like the rim isn't mounted correctly on the tire, but that's how it is.

does anybody else have some input? or ran into the same situation?

I have that same gap as well on my rears only. I've seen some other cars that have the same gaps.

I have 8.5 front / 10's rear with Falken fk452 245/35/20 and 285/30/20, the overall diameter is the same on all 4 = 26.7 inches with this setup . fronts sit good but rear has larger gap so only the rear needs to be lowered. fix for this is to cut the rear upper spring perch to lower .5 to .8 inches which I need to do still.....

This is very dangerous to do and wreaks of ghettoness. At the very least get some springs.

Have you read/seen the article? nothing wrong with it at all, just taking off excess rubber = dead space, been done plenty and no problems...

gf210's are the only springs that lower rear more than front 1.0 front and 1.2 rear which will then dump the front and even the rear....

Oh ok because it's considered an article (which I have no Idea what you're typing about) then it speaks the truth. I'm sure doing a hack-job on stock springs has been done before, but that doesn't make it any less ghetto.

Oh ok, speaking of hack-jobs... who was going to put washers between the stud and rotor to make the wheel spacers fit? Lucky your wheels didn't fall off and hurt yourself or somebody else!

WTF are you talking about???? Please point me to where I did this to get my spacers to fit .... You seriously need to STFU. On top of lying now you're saying I'm lucky my wheels didn't fall off for something I NEVER even did to my car to begin with. You have no f*cking clue what you're talking about.

Go ahead and ghetto-rig your suspension. A set of decent springs is $200+ tops. Looks like someone is pennie rich but dollar poor. You probably have no idea what that means. In your case ignorance is NOT bliss.

BTW ... I think its YOU we have to worry about. Nice first thread there. You crashed your car and of course hid the fact that it was YOUR fault.

Hey, you started with the ghettoness comment, maybe you should check your facts before commenting (as in the spring perch mod) and I never hid the fact that I crashed my car, I did it... and?

ONCE AGAIN please point out where I ACTUALLY put washers on car my Z to get my spacers to fit ... otherwise STFU.

Who the f*ck are you anyways? and what have you done to contribute to this forum?

Posting pics of how you crashed your car is not doing much for this site. All you did was increase everyone's insurance costs. Also, your "after" pics with that horrendous paint match isn't something I would be bragging about.

to quote: "I like these spacers a lot (quality-wise). For now I think I'm going to keep them and just put some washers in to offset the difference. I already know the fronts are going to be a PITA."

ref: https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-tires/271843-project-kic-spacer-issues.html

And never bragged about it.... just posting what's been done, I have the right to post whatever I want.... and don't forget that not that long ago, you were once a newbie.....
