I must have been very clear in my post. They shipped them 3 day select by UPS, but it took several weeks to make them because they were made exactly for the Z. Its good to proceed with caution but I assure you, I-forged dealt with me in a very professional and efficient manner.

I'm a little leary now. These claims are pretty severe and deserve some deeper research. BTW, why does it take 30-60 days to get rims and the first guy got them 3 day?

Driven,
Sorry man, I didn't mean you, I mean the other guy's post that you pasted on your post, I should have been a little more clear. I don't blame you in any way for posting this, if this info is being posted, it needed to be addressed. All I know is that I received my rims as promised and was treated more than fair by Vince and I-forged.

Please reread my earlier post if you are incinuating it was "MY" intent to damage anyone's reputation. I preempted my post with a very clear statement that I hoped this was a rumor and did not want to perpetuate it! The only reason I cut and copied was because if others like the looks of those wheels as much as I do....they too may be ordering and I believe everyone should be abreast of available public information in order to make an educated decision on purchase. Regardless, I will apologize if my post is inappropriate, but rest assured, I for one, will be doing possibly more research prior to purchasing than I would have otherwise.

I must reitterate that I REALLY like the looks of the wheels, and 3502GO's comparison to the HRE's quality is what peeked my interest in the first place. HOWEVER, just because he had his order handled "professionally" does not make the prior post in the Supra forum automatically false! I will take a companies ENTIRE history into account when I evaluate doing business personally with them....and I DO hope this is false. When I have time to do a bit more research on them...I will post good and bad found and you give it the credence you see fit!

OK....call me an idiot (truely...I don't mind!), but I don't get something. Iforged...your post above says this pic is of Aeros also...difference being the gunmetal, right? Am I seeing things, or does it look like there is a "double lip" on the Beemer, but only what looks like a single lip or barrel on 3502GO's wheels? I'm asking because I like the single lip look....and the deeper the better. Also, can anyone comment on what a reversed lip is? Or is that the simple answer to my question? Does a "reversed lip" give the single lip look I like? And if so, what would the depth of the lip be on a reversed lip 10" Aero wheel be?

Thanks

Driven,
Yes you are correct. The 20's on that BMW M3 use what is called a step lip. We offer both reverse and step lips in the 20" Size. For the 18, 19 we only have the reverse lip, the same as the ones Craig has. For the 350z we use a 3" reverse lip in the front and a 2.5" reverse lip in the front

Here is a reverse lip on an Audi S4, Black Aero [Reverse Lip]

Another reverse lip on a BMW 5 Series

Default My Delima

I want rims - YES - however, I also am going to want to lower the Z about an inch. How am I going to accomplish this and buy rims before suspension? I hear offsets change a bit once the car is lowered.

3rdpower,
offsets dont change when the car is lowered. A lowered car can make a once perfect offset rub the fender a little though. The offset that we are using for the 350z is moderate and not that aggressive, so even with an 1inch lowering you should not rub. Now if we made the offset closer to 25mm then you might rub, but with what we are using for the 350z right now you will be fine

Very nice looking! Like to see those in gunmetal on a DB.

I lowered it a bit in photoshop, makes it look a tad meaner.

Those of you worried about I-forged or any company for that matter should always use a credit card when ordering. If the company goes BK, you call your card company and get refunded. Had orderd blinds and shutters for the house and the company went BK after deleviering the blinds. Kept the blinds and cancelled the card order due to BK. One bid and one price for the set. Needless to say, got all the money back. Just consider it on any big orders.

iFORGED announces 4" lips for the rear of 350Z
After doing some more calculations and research, iForged is able to present all of the 2 Piece RS series of its wheel line with a rear lip size of 4" and the front lip size of 2.5".

On the 3 Piece FS Series we can fit 4.0" lips on the 20". Currently there is not a 4" lip in 19" 3 piece but it will be available in mid Feb. In the 18" we will offer the 3.5" lip in the rear.

All of the iForged wheels can be ordered with custom offsets and widths. In the RS Series we use

Front
18*8
18*9
19*8

Rear
18*10
19*10

In the FS series we can do

Front
18*8
18*8.5
18*9
19*8
19*8.5
19*9
20*8.5
20*9

Rear
18*9.5
18*10
18*10.5
19*9.5
19*10
19*10.5
20*9.5
20*10
