Default Well . . . my 19" Volk TE37s are now LE37s.

After $950 and 2 weeks in the shop, I finally got my refinished Bronze Volk TE37s back from the repair shop. They are no longer bronze (which saddens me a bit, but I was unable to find a shop in the US that would touch the anodized bronze finish).

I had the wheels repaired, sandblasted, powdercoated gloss black, had the lip cut, high-speed polished, and clearcoated. SO I guess I now have black LE37s. They really did turn out nice - I hope to slap them on at lunchtime. Pictures to follow.

Alright . . . here are a few pics (yeah, yeah - the car is filthy, the rear bumper is kinda smahsed up a bit, and I seem to have borrowed the suspension off a Bronco (HKS coilovers on the way)). Enjoy.

What offset are you running in the rear? Because there doesn't seem to be any lip.

22 all the way around. I do wish there was a more defined lip, but again - when I bought these they were bronze and I didn't think I'd ever be forced to have them all refinished (had a valet VERY badly curb all 4 of them - and couldn't get a penny out of the valet company). So, all things considered, I'm happy with them.

Looks real nice. Is going to look even better w/ a drop and CLEAN it! I'd buy the gold Volk Racing stickers if i were you. That would set it off.

manofsteel, the wheels are probably 9.5 inch wide in the rear or they have a less aggressive offset.

No doubt . . . it definitely needs a bath (tho with a rain/snow mix in the forecast Saturday, I may hold off for a few more days). Gold Volk stickers? Hmmm . . . I've only ever seen the black and blue ones. I'll need to see if I can track down a set. Of course, a nice big set of 14" 4-wheel red Stoptechs would also set them off nicely! Stupid Wallet, be more fat!

Really? I have a 22 offset all the way around also and I have a pretty deep lip in the back, but then again I have a 10.5" rear.

Anyways the rims look really good, I like the black with the polished lip.

LE or TE, they both look good. I can never get a straight answer. Which one has a lip? LE or TE?

Either way, still some bad a$$ looking wheels, especially those LE's w/ the lip manofsteele.
Actually - there is no difference in "lip size" between the TEs and LEs. He has a much larger lip b/c his wheels are 1" wider than mine (9.5 vs. 10.5). Also, the offset of my wheels contribute to the concave spokes - which in turn leaves a smaller lip.

This may be a really stupid question, but do you have the rims are correctly. Because the left side view of your car looks like the rims are really concaved and the right side view they don't. I thought maybe you accidently put both rears on the left side. I'm probably wrong but it kind of looks that way in the picture.

Hey thanks for the compliments MethodRn.

Yup they are on correctly. The concave spokes are quite subtle - and can really only be noticed when viewed from a certain angle (probably why they only look that way in one of the pictures).

Rims look good, def need the Volk stickers like already mentioned. They look a lot like the black LE37's Im waiting to arrive, except the Volk black is slightly more glossy, and the lip is larger....get some stickers and re-post pics. It would look 100X better if you lowered your car...

These are actually VERY glossy - just didn't turn out so well in the pics. I think the black Volks are actually a little "blacker" if that makes sense.

Again the lip on the TE and LE is the same size - just depends on what width and offset you go with. Unfortunately, the gold Volk stickers won't be available for another couple months - so you'll have your wheels by the time I can get my hands on some stickers.

As for the drop - HKS Hypermax RS coilovers are on the way.
