225/40/18 on the fronts? Any probs?

I'm finding these much cheaper than the 45 sidewalls. Will they throw off VDC or cause my speedo to be off?

If anything it might affect your brake system. I have a set of 225/45-18 Bridgestone RE 040's with less than 6,000 miles. No nails, never tracked, never touched a curb. I am asking $100 for the pair.

Dang I wish I got your response a little sooner. I just bought some cheap 225/40/18 Wanli's already.
