Tokyo Time Attacks though! I'd love me another set of GTS though. Preferably a set that hasn't been completely mutilated by a complete imbecile.

If they were 10.5 all around, would I still be able to use 255/35 on the fronts and 275/35 on the rears? Thanks

As for wheel situation... TE's or GT-S doesn't matter, make sure you get what YOU want and don't let others' opinion change your mind.

245/40 won't look good at all unless you want a 4x4 look.

245/35 will be spot on for your Z.

I'm glad too! It's a good thing PayPal exists for situations like that. On a positive note, I learned some really important and invaluable lessons out of it. My dream wheels are GT-S, and i'm really considering getting these. I've been in contact with KBurn for a while time now, and he seems like an honest person to buy them from. He sent me a lot of pictures w/ his username & the date, and they're pretty mint. I think I might pull the trigger on it. What do you guys think?

The only thing is, I'd be mounting the fronts on 255/35 and the rears on 275/35 tires. Would this work? It's a square setup 19x10.5+17, though

Should run same tire size on all 4's if you're running a square set up IMO but I don't see anything wrong running staggered tire size though, someone can chime in.

GL with your purchase

I had 245/35 and 255/35 on a 19x10 square set-up. Didn't bother my VDC and it kept the aspect ratio similar looking. If you use the 255/275 keep in mind that your fronts will look stretched while your rears will look mildly stretched...if that sort of thing bothers you. It will work all the same.

I would like to run the same tire size all around. I wish I didn't order these tires at the same time I paid for those wheels. Another lesson learned, lol

I have a base model on stock height. I don't mind the stretch look so long as it isn't extreme enough to be dangerous. In this case, would it be for daily driving? How about the track? Please excuse my noob questions, lol

Also, if I was somehow able to get rid of or sell the 255s, would 275 all around be ideal/good?

I fail to see how these responses are 'unhelpful'
245/35/19 is good for the front, 245/40/19 is a bit tall, more suited for the rear

245/40/19 has very similar circumference to stock 245/45/18 ie 83.9 inch circumference and 83.8 inch circumference

245/40/19 has a circumference of 83.9 inch, more than stock 225/45/18(front) circumference of 81.6 inch.

As per my previous post, 245/40/19 is not very suitable for the front. Do explain how am I wrong?

You're correct on circumference...but I wouldn't put a 245 on the REAR.
275/35 is the tire of choice on 19s.

Neither would I, I was just stating how the 245/40 is more suited for a rear tire than a front tire. Personally I have 285/35/19 in the rear

What's the ideal tire size on a wheel setup of 19x10.5+17 all around for the fronts and rears? I'm currently on stock height, and i'd be looking to do a slight drop in the future. I'd like to take her to the track every now and then, but my Z is my DD. Would 275/35/19 all around be best?

I have two 255/35/19 and two 275/35/19 tires at home that i'd like to use, but I understand there will be some stretching involved. I don't mind doing this, in fact i'd prefer to just use the tires I have already (so long as it isn't dangerous or anything).

Your response was not helpful because you didn't read the question.

Saying 245/35 is the best for fronts just adds to the thousands of posts which say the same thing.

My specific question after having destroyed a 19" rim running a 245/35 tire on the front of a 350z was if anyone else has upped their fronts to the higher profile 245/40. Given 245/40 is OEM for the 370z, it's plausible that this combination will allow driving my 19" wheeled 350z on **** pock marked road surfaces without damaging components.

Anyway I've since discovered that running 245/40/19 F along with 285/35/19 R will fix my problem. Amen to sidewalls!!
