Some exhaust work and changing out the SC pulley so far. Not sure what else he has planned. Fun car though.sry110 - Those PIAAs are nice. Post some pics when you get them on the car. I've always liked those wheels.
Here's my contribution of my last three sets of rims. I've owned and sold 9 sets on the forums! hehehe

BTW I just took the bathroom scale out on the porch and weighed the PIAA/Toyo combo and the 2006 OEM/RE040 combo. Not sure how accurate my weighing job was (it's an old non-digital scale with a handle that runs down the middle (between your feet) so I had to rest the wheels on the handle. Weights might not be accurate, but I was more interested in relative weight difference:
OEM Front: 51 lbs.
OEM Rear: 52.5 lbs.
PIAA Front: 50 lbs.
PIAA Rear: 53 lbs.
So not really a performance upgrade as far as acceleration or handling go, but an upgrade for traction I'm sure. Plus they just look so pretty
I doubt I will notice a difference in acceleration during my normal daily driving...however technically since both wheels weigh roughly the same, and the spokes on the Super Rozzas are so thin, that means more of the weight of the Super Rozzas is concentrated at the rim and not near the center, meaning an increase in rotating inertia, which is really what affects acceleration rate. Eh well, we'll see. I'm sure it won't be worth the extra $1k I'd have to spend to get uber trendy light-weight leet Volks
hi guys i'm new in here so just want to ask, do i get rubbing with this setup 245/35R19x8.5 front and 275/35R19x9.5 rear +20 all around, and my car not lowered. ??? thanks..

Has anyone considered running 18s front and 19s rear? (some pics would be great) its supposed to drive alot better since there is really no need to run 19s on the front (apart from them looking real good)
But the compromise is supposed to be good, i.e by running 19s on the rear, the overall look is not compromised and you dont get front wheels rubbing the arches as a result of running too low. Benefits also include better steering feel and less weight.

A trend hahaha......
I thought the offset in wheel height has been done numerous times from the 240 crowd.
From my understanding you see a few 17" 18" setups on 240's, so if it's a trend thats starting now what was it back when? Sorry to say but it's not a trend thats emerging it's been around the block a few times.
If you mean a trend on the 350Z then i might understand.
And my 19" don't rub in front, thats why you get proper offset and tire sizes. The weight is important when trying to a win race but a forged 19" 9.5" can't be that much heavier then a 18" 9.5"
You know what is funny is to see the 18" in front and 17" out back. There was a S15 with that setup for time attack event, I'm guessing they wanted more rubber out back still don't know the reasons.

that is one bad *** z bro....what rear bumper is that?
mikhe- The most common offset is +22 all around, but since you're cutting the fenders you might think about +12 all around. This is going to push the wheels out, but you'll get some mean lip! I'm not an expert so ask a pro before picking up some rims. Try Rick at Status Auto for rims
.
I might as well post pics of my whip as well...
