Hey guys....looking for some help with Tire and Wheel questions.
Quick background. 350ZR TT 580+ RWHP & TQ in SoCal so good weather.
I need lots of grip in back and would like to run the Toyo R888's all around. I have been limited by tire sizes in the R888's because I currently have 19" Volk SF Challenge 19/8.5/+21 and 19/9.5/+23 I have StopTech BBK 14" front and 13" rear. Suspension is Nismo S-Tune for now but will probably get coilovers in the future. Fenders are cut/rolled/stretched already.
I want the car set up for performance but I would like it to look flush and clean, not stretched or slammed or hellaflush. I am looking for performance on streets/canyons. Car is a roadster and doesn't see many tracks but I would like to do some Autocross to get better skills. Thinking of getting some Volk GTS in 18" which would give me the most options in tire sizes for the R888's and other tires as well. Also, 18‘s are cheaper than 19's and should be better performance. I am planning to stay staggered because of the power unless there is a good reason to go with a square set-up.
Here are my questions:
1) What wheel sizes should I be looking at in 18's? Im thinking 18/9.5 front and 18/10.5 rear but I dont know about the offsets. I’ve read that the R888's run pretty wide so I guess I need to go with a bit higher positive offset.....correct?
2) What tire sizes in the R888's should I be running with the 18's? If I run a 295/30/18 in the rear, can I have a 265/35/18 in front? I picked these from the available options on the R888 size chart.
3) If I went with 19's (sorry, I know this is an 18" discussion thread) what would be the best set-up with wheels and tires? Could I do 265/30/19 front and 295/30/19 rear? Would this screw with traction control or the speedo?
I believe a couple guys have run 18's in front and 19's in rear with the R888's to get the sizing to work.
I would really appreciate some direction from those that understand offsets and tire sizes and what I am trying to accomplish. I have spent a little time on the tire size calculators but I still have some fundamental flaws in understanding these. When I compare tire sizes, am I just concerned about front to back with the new tires or do I have to compare to what came on the car stock? How much variation is acceptable?
Thanks!

Hey everyone,
I've been thinking about 18x8.5 and 9.5 wheels but I'm in having issues deciding on the tire size.
is 245/40/18F and 265/40/18R going to look good? It's either that or 275R.
I want it to look just right. I'm lowered about 1.75" and will roll my fenders if need be.
Pictures of the first set up would be awesome! 275's are welcome too!

Fitment Question
Hey guys, I'm new to the Nissan 350 community and have a few questions regarding wheel fitment. I am interested in a staggered setup of 18x9.5ET20 and 18x10.5ET20. Will these work? I am okay with stretching the tire slightly but im not sure if these will poke too much or will have problems with inner clearance. Any input would be great.
Thanks,
Terrence

Actually you may need a rear roll, with the standard 275/40 mounted on a 10.5 depending on camber you will start to rub at around +25
