Default Pain!

Thanks for the help, but thing is when I looked at the offsets and sizes anywhere I look online, I find the rear correct size offset bolt pattern and so on but then I can't find the front one with correct size and offset... Could I just run lets say 19x9.5's all the way around? This is becoming a pain!

I'm thinking about picking up some XXR 522's this summer. 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear. My understanding is that is the same size as my 2006 stock rims so I should be able to use my tires I have on there now correct? Right now I'm running 225/45/18 and 245/45/18. When I went to just take a gander at looking for tires to go with them they suggested 245s for the front and 275s for the rear. Basically, I don't want to spend extra money on tires if I don't have to.

Stock wheels are 18x8 and 18x8.5. The stock tire sizes will look dumb, plus those xxrs are ugly af and therefore making it even uglier.

But if those are the sizes you want then go with
245/40/18 and 275/40/18. Will be nice and meaty.

Good luck.

Hey guys, just a quick Question. Has anyone been Running 225/40R18 on Fronts & 235/40R18 on Rears? I found a good set of tires im about to buy, but thought id ask before buying... I have a 2003 Track 350z.

I just wanted to hear some input on those particular tire sizes...

The sidewalls are thinner than OEM so you have more tire to fender gap. Plus, your SLIP light may illuminate if you have VDC. So, can you run them? Yes. Will it look funny? Yes.

I run 225/40 on the front and love it. Never have had a problem. Plus the wheel gap won't matter if you plan to lower your car.

T_scott, My Z is already lowered, so I don't think I'll have a problem with seeing the wheel gap...

What about 235/40R18 on Rears? Anyone feel comfortable with their tires of same size?

Thanks for everyone's input once again.

Why not 245 45 18 or 235 45 18. Sears has buy 3 get 1 free on good year along with $35 off extra and 6% cashback.

I am using mr rebates or ebates for 6% and then referral on top. You can also do shopdiscover 5%, chase freedom 5%

codes:

Default 18" Wheel and tire specs

So tax season is here and I'm going to be ordering a new set of rims. Offset options for the size wheels I'm ordering are +20 +25 and +35. For 18x8.75 and 18x9.75 wheels. Which offset will be most aggressive for this setup and will clear? Also I work at a repair shop/tire shop an we have a set of goodyear eagles. 2 are 225 50 18 and 2 are 245 45 18, would these fit okay on these wheels and still clear?

you work at a tire shop and do not know if tires will fit the wheels you're getting? and you also don't know what offsets are?

I'm 19, so I'm not really an expert. I know what offsets are, just not sure which would be the best for my dimension rims and tires. I'd like somebody who could just answer my questions instead of trolling.
