Alright, thanks!
I just calculated it as 225(.45) = 101.25 - 245(.40) = 3.25 --> 3.25/101.25 = .032 = 3.2% but I don't really know how exactly it's supposed to be done.

Best way to prevent it is stay with stock stagger , 255 front, then run a 275 rear. A 295 rear on an NA daily driver will do nothing good for you.
The other way to do it, 275/35 front with the 295/35 rear, lots of traction for hitting canyons, lots of drag due to tire width.

I'm going to be ordering a set of MB Battles.
18x9.5 +15 offset (with a 25mm spacer in the rear.)
I am dropped 1.0"F/1.2"R
I will be rolling my fender.
What tire sizes would be the best to have minimal wheel gap, and make it as flush to fender as possible without any rubbing?
(Yes, I did look at the MB Battle thread, but none specified their suspension along with their offsets).
Thanks a lot for your help. It is much appreciated.

I would probably just run a 245/45-18 in the rear with that combo. Or remove the spacers, run 275/40 and the size spacer needed to flush it up.

I got a flat away from home and had to get new rear tires (no other options). Ended up with crappy Proxies 255/45/18 (stock wheels). Prior to that I had Kumho Ecsta in the same size.
After getting new tires, I noticed odd handling behavior. It feels like the rear end is steering at high speeds. Changing lanes on the freeway makes the back end follow lazily. It keeps drifting after the front is straight in the new lane. I actually have to correct it slightly. Getting off throttle in 2nd makes the rear float left and right like when you lift at the top of a hill and about to get loose.
I'm attributing this to soft sidewalls. But I wanted to confirm with you, guys.
I have over a thousand miles on them and no changes so far at all. So it's not a camber groove breaking in.
I have a brand new set of Goodyear Eagle F1s (all seasons) waiting to be put on. But I'm waiting to pick up a daily driver, so I can take the Z out of commission for a bit.
Oh, and currently front and rears are mismatched in speed rating. I think front Kumhos are W and Proxies are V.
Any similar experience?

Ok, so...someone maybe confirm this for me. With a 255/40 - 275/40 combo
If 9.5 + 20 does not rub but 9.5 +15 seems to rub for some people. Then...
If I can get a 9 +15, then I should have no rubbing issues with a 255/275 setup. Right??? According to the offset calculator they should extend 1mm less than the 9.5+20.
Maybe I just answered my own question, but I'm terrible with math and I don't trust myself.

Anyone comfirm this for me? (this all assumes a stock suspension with no rolling)

Its getting tough to find a variety of wheels for the 350 in a +20 fitment unless you want to get a Rota...seems like all the other major manufacturers of inexpensive wheels are limited to +30 or +15.

Looking for a pic of someone who has XXR 527's lowered on GF210's who is running 275/40/18 in the back. Trying to see that wheel gap. Right now I'm running 265/35/18s all around and hate the wheel gap in the back. Thinking about getting bigger tires and wanted to see how much it helped decrease the fender-to-well gap. Thanks in advance.

I did buy some things to replace my rear spring mounts to lower it but i never installed them. I want more traction especially when I go to the track. I can't hardly get a grip on the pavement my back end literally has no traction. Hoping 275/40/18's won't rub on my 06 since the 06-08 sits up higher in the rear and there's quite a bit of a fender gap right now. I cna't imagine adding .6" of height will make it rub. I just want my Z to look better and have more traction.
Here's some pics so u can see the fender gap (sorry they're crappy cell phone pics)

That looks great Leslie. Right now I'm running 265/35/18s all around on my 18x9.75 and I'm dropped on GF210's. I want to upgrade to bigger tires to reduce my wheel gap in the back and give me more traction. Will 275/40/18's rub or will I be good? Some say you need your fenders rolled others say you don't. Just wondering.
