I'm 99.9% sure that it can be repaired. Unless it's broken in half, there sholdn't be any problem. Especially if its just a gash. Honestly I was super **** about my rims as well...till I moved out to a nice place in LA called Brentwood (lived right in the middle of Brentwood/Beverly Hills/Santa Monica/Bel Air). I can't even explain to you how it feels to turn into a road (Veteran st) and just stare at the maze of pot holes that you have to avoid, though you know you can't.
Also try driving on some of our famous roads like Sunset Blvd (405 side).

Wow my condolences...
I've had a few close calls myself *knock on wood* but you should definitely get an estimate on them being fixed.
It's just the barrel I'm assuming? Easier to color match the polished lip than the actual inner rim.
$100-200 will probably beat the $500-600 + shipping and waiting that you have to pay for a new wheel.

You threw up?! Please tell me you were also a bit sick, because, no offense man, and I know that really sucks, but even if my car got smashed to hell... as long as no one got hurt, I doubt I would puke abuot it...
Anyhow.. sorry about that, I hope it gets resolved cheaply...
